The 4th of July is just around the corner. Today, I am sharing with you some patriotic DIY decorations and independence day crafts you can do on a budget. These affordable DIY decorations will add a festive look to your home. Display the red white and blue with these patriotic decorations!

Free printable AMERICA banner. This would look great hung over your fireplace or outside if you’re having a BBQ or a 4th of July party!

Patriotic Nutter Butter Flip Flops. These are really cute snacks. Chocolate melts can get expensive, but if you check retailmenot.com for coupons (you could find a coupon for Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby lobby, etc.) you may be able to save a few dollars.

Fourth of July Centerpiece. This cute centerpiece is made from red, white, and blue paper folded accordion style. So easy!

July 4th Cakepops. Cakepops are inexpensive to make. Just use your leftover cake, crumble, and add frosting. To make them patriotic, simply cover them in red, white, and blue sprinkles or chocolate.

Free Patriotic Pinwheel template. Kids will love these and they are easy to make. The best part is that the template is FREE!

3D Patriotic Paper Stars. These would look great hung from an outdoor trellis or even a ceiling in your home!

DIY 4th of July Noisemaker for Kids. Make some noise this 4th of July! This is easy to make and kids can do it themselves.

Firecracker Popsicles with Happy Faces. These popsicles will cool kids and adults down and make them smile!

Patriotic Tin Can Luminaries. Reuse those soup or coffee cans! You need a few additional supplies to make these luminaries (paint, hammer, nail, etc.), but they are inexpensive and look great outside!

Festive Water Bottle Flowers. Another Independence day craft that utilizes materials you already have at home. Reuse those empty water bottles to make these patriotic flowers. You can use scrapbook paper or material to create the patriotic look.
