Just a heads up. Participating Starbucks are offering a free Hazelnut or Caramel Macchiato through March 31st. Just ask your Barista or call ahead to make sure your location is one of the ones participating (some Starbucks are just having it as free with purchase).

I called a few area Starbucks and they either had no idea about this or said they give out vouchers at random, so you cant just walk in and ask for your free drink ;(
I had a time getting this thing: I have 5 Starbucks on my way to work in Downtown Chicago. I called 2 and they said that they had the drink, come and get it. I was told that I had to buy it. Finally went to the 2 near my job that are 1 block from each other. The one in the building next door to my job gave me the voucher, but not without giving me strange looks first. I went to the other one and they had no idea: she said that she saw them when people were redeeming them. This was so unorganized and I feel sorry for people who are walking in and expecting to get a totally FREE coffee. They were not giving those vouchers out freely at all!
